Resources - to support the SYKSP Project
There are a range of resources which are free to schools involved in The South Yorkshire Key Skills Passport. These include Logbooks to help pupils build portfolios for the national key skills unit qualifications. The booklets are at the following levels and are colour coded.
- entry level ( green strap line)
- level 1 ( orange strap line)
- level 2 ( purple strap line)
- level
3 ( dark green/blue strap line)
To the right is a copy of the front cover of the Level One Logbook for KS3 and 4 pupils. The project also provides schools with: posters, certificates, lesson plans and other support/monitoring materials.Training opportunities for teaching staff are also provided free to all the schools in the project.Visit our assessment sheets page to download portfolio cover sheets for pupils.
Teachers can order all these resources from the scheme manager in their LEA.
To the right is a picture of the leaflets which are available for pupils, parents and teachers.
Note: The logbooks (shown below) are frequently being updated e.g. in light of the 'addendum to the guidance' on the main skills and the guidance booklet on the wider skills. We are currently on version 4 of the logbooks. The logbooks must be used by teachers
in conjunction with the key skills guidance and the addendum published by QCA
